Issue 64 — April, 2008
Time to talk
Not a canal protest, but a painting style with roots in Jericho. Learn more at the AGM.Please come to the annual Community Association meeting on April 10
Jericho’s main community meeting of the year will take place on Thursday April 10 at 7.30 p.m. at St Barnabas School. The AGM of the Jericho Community Association (JCA) always makes for an interesting evening, and this year’s should be no exception. This is your chance to meet some neighbours over tea, or something stronger, and catch up on recent events. Among the highlights this year, will be a presentation by Heathcote Williams on Jericho’s artistic heritage – the legacy of the pre-Raphaelite painters.
In addition we will have the elections for next year’s officers and members of the management committee, as well as consideration of a new constitution – see below. Everyone who lives in Jericho is automatically a member of the Association so please come along.
