Inflows
Each country has its own system of measuring migration,
based on its own particular requirements. This can make it difficult to
achieve strict comparisons across countries.
Some countries use population registers
while others have a variety of different
sources. There are also varying definitions
of what constitutes an international migrant. With those reservations
in mind, the tables that follow collect some of the more recently published
information.
